Always more ! …could have been the name given to this arcade machine as its owner wanted the best.
It's the end of March 2022 in Gaming Days near Tours that we met Julien, who had come from the North to see the FLEX arcade range with his own eyes. We talked at length on site, he already had a very good idea of what he wanted and gave me all the time I needed to produce his machine, a treat :)
- On a PC basis, he opted for an i7 9750H but managed to upgrade to an i9 9880H and built himself a real fighter plane with his GTX1650 graphics card, a 1TB M2 SSD and 32GB of DDR4
- Next-Gen connectivity to connect your PS3, with the red button on the front for the switch which allows you to switch from the PS3 to the PC
- Coin mechanism, all the €0.10 coins in the house will go through it
- Personalized decoration on the theme of the Berserk manga. Decoration made by Julien himself and which will remain unique, we love the almost monochrome tone with this hint of red, the visuals are incredible!
- Sticker on the front door, to reduce the monolithic side of the white chassis which Julien did not like
- Additional side buttons and all illuminated buttons
We are not (too) far from Saint-André-lez-Lille, so I made this delivery in person and took the opportunity to do the installation and start-up. The whole family was present and delighted to see me arrive with Julien's big toy. I don't know who was more, him or his daughters!
Obviously we had to test a game with the PS3 and it worked almost the first time. In fact I had to rewire the start buttons, and here we go with the game “Ninja Turtles”, perfect with the joystick buttons. For the retro gaming system part, Julien will take care of it, we just delivered the hardware to him and he will do the software part, so he has put together a system that he likes and was able to benefit from it. a nice reduction. Also we are going to deliver a new door to Julien because we had an adjustment problem that was impossible to resolve before delivery. The hazards of live! But overall everything went well, at FLEX we are quite proud of this delivery.
